In fifteen days, voters across Florida’s 21st District will make their voices heard in the August 18 primary.
That means the next two weeks matter. Every conversation matters. Every neighbor who knows the deadline matters. Every vote matters.
I am not on the ballot in the primary because I am running unopposed, but this primary election is important to so many others in our community.
This is not about slogans. It is about results. I work daily to keep fighting for the priorities that matter here: clean water, safe communities, strong families, lower costs, secure borders, and real support for the veterans who defended this country.
We fought for the largest Everglades restoration investment ever included in an appropriations package: $461 million for South Florida ecosystem restoration. That work protects our water, our economy, our way of life, and the places our kids and grandkids should be able to fish, boat, and enjoy for generations.
We got the Medal of Sacrifice Act signed into law so the families of law enforcement officers and first responders killed in the line of duty receive the national honor they deserve. In Palm Beach County, the first medals honored Deputies Ralph “Butch” Waller, Ignacio “Dan” Diaz, and Cpl. Luis Paez. Their sacrifice should never be forgotten.
We are also pushing to keep families safe in everyday life. That is why I introduced legislation to establish enforceable federal safety standards for infant formula, requiring testing, recordkeeping, and public reporting so parents can trust what they are feeding their babies.
And we are not slowing down. We are fighting to lower costs, protect American families, enforce the law, defend our freedoms, and make sure Washington remembers who it works for.
The first step is showing up.
The deadline to request a vote-by-mail ballot is Thursday, August 6 at 5:00 PM. Early voting begins Saturday, August 8. Primary Election Day is Tuesday, August 18.
