Seven days from today, voters across Florida’s 21st District will head to the polls for Florida’s August 18 Primary Election.
The primary is no longer a far-off date. Early voting is already underway, ballots are being cast, and races at every level of government are on the ballot. The message is simple: make a plan, show up, and encourage your family and neighbors to participate.
I have never taken your trust for granted. I approach this job the same way I approached every mission in the Army: know what is at stake, give the job everything you have, and never leave your team behind.
For us, that starts with clean water. We have worked to stop toxic discharges into the St. Lucie River, move the EAA Reservoir forward, send clean water south, and secure funding for Everglades restoration. The EAA Reservoir will hold more than 78 billion gallons when complete. That is infrastructure intended to protect our estuaries, our economy, and the Florida way of life.
We have also worked on behalf of the men and women who serve. The House-passed FY27 National Defense Authorization Act includes priorities I supported related to earned leave, monthly leave accrual, military pay, barracks, and family housing. Service is not a talking point to me. It is a commitment we must keep.
Another milestone came when President Trump signed my Medal of Sacrifice Act into law. After Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Deputies Ralph “Butch” Waller, Ignacio “Dan” Diaz, and Luis Paez were killed in the line of duty, our community said their sacrifice must never be forgotten. The House passed the bill, the Senate passed it unanimously, and fallen law enforcement officers and first responders can now receive a permanent presidential honor.
Clean water. Service before self. Safer communities. Lower costs. Secure borders. These are issues that continue to matter across our district. Now, with seven days until Primary Election Day, make sure you know how and when you plan to vote.
Vote early if you can. Confirm your Election Day polling place if you cannot. Remind your family, friends, and neighbors that the primary is August 18th.
